In 2007, The Honda Classic moved to PGA National Resort with the support of American Honda, longest-running title sponsor on the PGA Tour. Under new management, the tournament staff and volunteers seamlessly executed the vision of The New Honda Classic into what has become a world-class event today. From the beginning, elevating the hospitality experience for the sponsors and spectators was a top priority, so out of this, a concept was born.

Kelly Kennerly and Sharon McEnroe gathered 20 of their closest friends to host various hospitality venues throughout the 2008 Honda Classic. An element of concierge service was developed and the wheels were set in motion to create something very special and unique to the tournament experience at The Honda. In 2009, the program was presented and The CouTOURe Club became an official volunteer organization of women dedicated to increasing awareness of The Honda Classic and its mission to raise money for children's charities.  Fast forward to 2024 Cognizant becomes the title sponsor of the event with a new name Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.
